It was founded in 1983 as a design firm providing external support to major paper mill machinery manufacturers, and over the years it has acquired expertise and references at numerous mills on the Italian and European territory.

D.M. Projects has carried out a number of relevant interventions in the paper industry and other industrial areas.
Among the prominent projects, the company handled the dismantling of the former Germagnano Paper Mill, cataloging and updating the drawings of more than 170 containers of equipment and components.
It also handled the entire maintenance and modifications to the flat table, including lengthening and inserting a wire cloth for new paper productions.
In addition, it developed and supplied new cantilever beams and components to upgrade the machine.
In the area of deinking, D.M. Progetti carried out surveying, cataloging, and dismantling of the Green Romanello Paper Mill.
It is currently engaged in the design of a new paper mill in Egypt, providing support for the purchase and installation of the necessary parts.
Among other assignments, it designed a new large roll uncoiler, which immediately went into production.
The company won contracts with the Istituto Poligrafico Zecca di Stato (IPZS), including the design of components to solve operational problems and the rehabilitation of the Ponte Strona Paper Mill.
Here it developed new tail passage systems and restored dryer cylinders.
She was also involved in the reconstruction of MC2 in Foggia as PM on behalf of the polygraph itself (winning the tender) ensuring the success of the project with full certification of the plant.
