Project Management

Design
We custom design and build according to the customer’s need
D.M. Progetti is distinguished by reliability, punctuality and precision in the management of orders, offering innovative solutions for plant upgrades and the recovery of dated machinery for emerging markets.
The key strategy is parts optimization to improve productivity and reduce costs.
The company develops automated products to increase efficiency and follows a methodical approach to improve plants, with a phased plan.
Services include plant inspections and complete project lifecycle management from design to installation, with a focus on safety.
Machine parts groups
The company is involved in the **design** of paper machines and machine head systems, including sections of paper and tissue machines (headboxes, flat tables, presses, dryers, winders, unwinders, rewinders).
He also designs gyro units, tail passes, sheet and trim pulpers, and auxiliary equipment (vacuum, steam, condensate, lubrication, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
It also designs for the relocation of equipment, used machinery, and spare parts.
Plant modifications
Upon customer’s request, we perform 3D scanning of the part to reproduce it, redesign it, optimize it, and/or make a new part.
Performance improvement (wear or Energy saving) and/or product quality.
Engineering
The company has a qualified team with experience in 2D/3D mechanical design, using software such as Inventor and Solidworks, and Piping line design with ESAPro for modeling complete plants.
It provides BOMs and sketches for piping prefabrication, with CE-certifiable designs.
All data are managed according to ISO 9001 standards and privacy laws.
Services include stock preparation, pulping and scrap processing facilities, purging systems, washing, coil transport and safety guarding.
Piping
The company is also active in piping for Oil&Gas plants and paper mills, providing complete services from P&ID design to detailed engineering.

3D digital scanner surveys
Tool for surveying plants (including large surfaces) or parts with point cloud release that can be imported to the most diverse and popular 3D CAD systems for our customers.
Permanent marking
Process that contemplates cataloging by micropunching (numerical and barcoded) resistant to sandblasting for maintenance, of each part to be disassembled for shipment.
The tagging/micropunching and also reported on tables subdivided by machine parts, accompanied by photographic reportage of each part and with reporting on CAD drawing of the Tags necessary for the recognition and reassembly of all parts.

Large format mechanical engineering drawings, plants and piping that are difficult to preserve over time will be preserved through digital transformation.
Being equipped with portable equipment, we can transfer the service to clients who request it by defining with them the archiving and acquisition criteria.
